Jose Aguirre-Vallin
Project Manager
Jose immigrated to the U.S. at a young age, growing up immersed in both Mexican traditions and a variety of American influences. His upbringing was shaped by exposure to different cultures and ways of life, sparking a personal exploration of music, art, and hobbies and shaping his perspective on space, identity, and design.
Â
With a father in residential construction, Jose spent much of his childhood on job sites, where he developed an early understanding of what makes a space both functional and inviting. This is the path that led him to ultimately end up at the University of Oklahoma to study architecture. Through his time at OU, Jose deepened his passion for architecture, honing his technical skills while exploring the impact of design on communities and the built environment. He graduated with distinction, eager to apply his knowledge to real-world projects.
Â
Now in the early stages of his career, Jose is focused on building experience and becoming well-versed in all phases of a project, from programming to construction administration. As he continues to refine his approach, he is dedicated to understanding client needs and ensuring confidence in the design process.
Â
Outside of work, Jose enjoys exploring new places, spending time with his family, friends, and dogs, and capturing moments from his travels through photography. He is also an avid OU football fan.
